The lineup

Single origins, two blends, a decaf.

Every coffee here is bought directly from nine partner farms in Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala, roasted in small batches on a 15 kg Loring. The same lineup is available to cafés wholesale.

The lineup at a glance

Single origins

Coffees from our nine partner farms in Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala, roasted one small batch at a time.

Seasonal blends

Two blends that follow the seasons, sitting alongside the single origins for the days you want something familiar.

Decaf

A decaf in the same direct-bought line, for the later cups of the day.

How we buy and roast

The short version of how coffee gets from farm to bag.

01

Nine farms, three countries

We buy directly from nine partner farms in Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala. The relationship starts at the farm, not at the port.

02

A 15 kg Loring

Small batches on a Loring roaster let us adjust to each lot as it roasts. Small enough to stay precise, steady enough for daily service.

03

One lineup, both channels

Wholesale accounts and the subscription draw from the same single origins, blends, and decaf. There is no separate coffee for anyone.

Sourcing

What direct buying means here

Direct buying is a relationship, not a label.

When we say we buy from nine partner farms in Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala, we mean the coffee has a farm attached to it, grown by people we work with season after season, and roasted here in Portland in small batches.

That is why the lineup stays small: three countries, two seasonal blends, one decaf. It is easier to stand behind coffee we can trace to a farm than to fill a catalog.

Coffee questions

Which origins do you roast?

Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala, bought directly from nine partner farms.

Do you roast decaf?

Yes. A decaf is part of the regular lineup, roasted in the same small batches.

Can cafés buy these same coffees?

Yes. Wholesale accounts order from the same single origins, blends, and decaf, and we dial in the espresso for their equipment.

How fresh is the coffee?

We roast in small batches on a 15 kg Loring. Small batches turn over quickly, which is the whole point of the setup.
