About the roastery
Nine farms, one 15 kg roaster.
Copperline has roasted in small batches in Portland since 2016, buying directly from nine partner farms across Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala, and supplying cafés across the Pacific Northwest.
Since 2016
A roastery built on a simple arrangement
Copperline started in 2016 with a simple arrangement: buy coffee directly from farms, roast it in small batches, and sell it to cafés that care about the same things.
The arrangement has not changed. The roaster is still a 15 kg Loring. The farms are nine partners across Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala. The wholesale side now supplies 40+ cafés, restaurants, and grocers across the Pacific Northwest, with espresso dial-in, equipment setup, and barista training included in every account.
We are not the biggest roaster in Portland. That was never the goal. The goal is coffee worth serving, and a wholesale relationship that works like a partnership.

Founded in 2016
Small-batch specialty roasting since 2016, on a 15 kg Loring roaster in Portland.
Direct from nine farms
We buy directly from partner farms in Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala, so the coffee comes to us from the people who grew it.
Wholesale and direct
40+ cafés, restaurants, and grocers across the Pacific Northwest buy wholesale; drinkers at home buy direct through the monthly subscription.
From green coffee to your cup
01
Buy directly
We work with nine partner farms in Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala, buying the coffee straight from them.
02
Roast in small batches
Every lot is roasted on a 15 kg Loring, in batches sized for the lineup, not for a warehouse.
03
Serve both channels
The same coffee goes to 40+ cafés, restaurants, and grocers wholesale, and to subscribers at home.
See for yourself
The best way to understand a roastery is to taste the coffee. Start with the lineup, or ask about wholesale.
